Robert Carter is an artist and writer from Manchester living in Oslo. He graduated from the Bergen Art Academy in 2020 with his first short film, Notes on Dad. He was an Associate Artist of the Liverpool Biennial from 2016-18. From 2014-17 he was co-director of the Exhibition Centre for the Life & Use of Books with Lauren Velvick and Daniel Fogarty. In 2016 he was a member of the School of the Damned – an alternative, free art school based in London.
