Living abroad in Norway led me to make this short film which looks at dialect, regional belonging and asks how we leave behind unwanted emotional baggage.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring slide photos of my mum&#8217;s abstract paintings and close-ups of children&#8217;s books from the 1970s, <em>The Archive is Present<\/em> is both a celebration and critique of my chaotic family photo collection in the
